Rockwool is an insulation material that is frequently used for thermal insulation (sheathing), sound insulation and fire insulation.
Rockwool is produced by melting basalt stone, which is a volcanic rock, at 1350 oC-1400 oC and turning it into fiber.
Basalt, which is turned into fiber, is pressed in various sizes and formed into a plate.
